Under the hood: shared component library foundations are in place
No visible changes for hosts or guests today. We spent the day laying the groundwork for a more consistent and faster-to-improve app.
We built a shared component library and routed all loading states, notification banners, and modal dialogs through it. Instead of each part of the app solving these problems differently, there is now one place that defines how they look and behave. That means fewer visual inconsistencies and easier fixes going forward.
This kind of work shows up later, when things feel a little more polished without us having changed anything specific.
